The latest anime to adapt Marvel's superheroes is Future Avengers, running on Disney's D-Life. Yuzo Sato directs the Madhouse production with the cast from Toei's Disc Wars Avengers reprising their roles (even Takehito Koyasu as Deadpool) - along with Aki Kanada, Atsushi Tamaru and Juri Kimura voice its original hero-kids and Shinya Hamazoe as a young villain. It's started incorporating Marvel's newer and newly prominent heroes. And, an early look at the upcoming episode reveals the introduction of Ms Marvel - the New Jersey-based shape-shifter who was Marvel's first Muslim character to headline her own comic book.
This week's episode features the passage of a super-hero registration law in the wake of a disastrous battle between the Hulk and Green Goblin.
Miles Morales (Spider-Man) recent made an appearance too...
Eriko Hirata voices its Captain Marvel
Ms Marvel is also part of a Japanese publicity campaign for comics that includes collected edition covers by Shigeto Koyama, Gurihiru and Shunya Yamashita.
