Live-action tokusatsu film rebooting "Super Robot Red Baron" and "Silver Mask" hits theaters in Japan on November 10th
The official movie poster has been revealed for Brave Storm, an upcoming live-action tokusatsu film that reboots the classic 1970's TV shows Super Robot Red Baron and Silver Mask as a modern day clash between mecha and alien invaders.
Set in the year 2015, the story of Brave Storm follows Kenichiro Kurenai, a robot engineer who encounters the 5 time-traveling Kasuga brothers from the year 2050. In the future, humanity has been all but wiped out by aliens invaders known as Kyrgyz, so the Kasugas have traveled to the past to crush the invasion before it begins. Will the combined might the Kasuga's advanced technology (including alien detection glasses and a powered suit called "Silver") and Kurenai's giant robot, "Red Baron", be able to defeat the alien threat?
Brave Storm is directed by Junya Okabe and stars Shunsuke Daito, Shu Watanabe, and Chihiro Yamamoto. The film hits theaters in Japan on November 10, 2017.
