Adaptation based on Taiwanese web comic by Yanai hits Japanese airwaves in Spring of 2018
And you thought your family was weird? Imagine being the youngest (human) sibling in a group of demi-humans raised by a pair of mad scientists. That's the premise of Jikken-hin Kazoku -Creatures Family Days- ("Experimental Family"), an upcoming TV anime based on the Taiwanese web comic by Yanai that will begin broadcasting in Japan and Taiwan in the Spring season of 2018.
In Jikken-hin Kazoku -Creatures Family Days-, Tanis is an ordinary human child, while his four older siblings were created as human / monster hybrids by their mad scientist parents. Tanis and his siblings decide to live on their own and blend in with the local community, but will they be able to hide their unique secrets and be a "normal" family?
The original Jikken-hin Kazoku -Creatures Family Days- will be serialized in Shinchosha's Monthly Comic @Bunch seinen manga magazine beginning with the December 2017 issue, which will be published in Japan on October 21, 2017. The main staff and cast for Jikken-hin Kazoku -Creatures Family Days- have not been announced yet, although it is known that the opening theme, entitled "Early Days", is performed by Rin Akatsuki.
