As reported, Sankaku Head's comedy manga series Himouto! Umaru-chan will end its five-year serialization in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump in its next 50th issue to be published next Thursday, November 9. But the author's Twitter post today may suggest a possible sequel to it.
He says, "Umaru-chan's 217th chapter is now published in Young Jump released today! Finally, it will have its final chapter next week...! But there will be 'zokuhe'...zokuhou (a follow-up announcement), so please look forward to the next week-!"
"zokuhen" means sequel or continuation. He didn't type the last "n" in Japanese, but it is no difficult to guess what he means. This post is also retweeted by the anime's official Twitter account, so we can probably consider it as "official."
