Japanese broadcast schedule revealed for TV anime based on yuri romance manga by Saburouta

The Japanese broadcast schedule has been revealed for Citrus, an upcoming TV anime based on the yuri romance manga by Saburouta about a high school "gyaru" who falls into a same-sex relationship after transferring to a new school when her mother remarries. Citrus will broadcast according to the following schedule:

  • Tokyo MX: every Sunday during the 23:30 time slot beginning on January 07, 2018.
  • AT-X: every Saturday during the 23:30 time slot beginning on January 06, 2018.
  • Sun TV: every Sunday during the 25:00 time slot beginning on January 07, 2018.
  • BS Fuji: every Tuesday during the 24:30 time slot beginning on January 09, 2018.

Please note that some Japanese TV schedules count early-morning programming as late-night programming of the previous day, so for example the 25:00 time slot on Sunday is actually on Monday morning at 1:00AM JST.

The original Citrus manga is serialized in Ichijinsha's Comic Yuri Hime manga magazine, and an English language version is also available from Seven Seas Entertainment, who described the story as follows:

Yuzuko Aihara, a high school girl whose main interests are fashion, friends and having fun, is about to get a reality check. Due to her mom’s remarriage, Yuzu has transferred to a new, all-girls school that is extremely strict. Her real education is about to begin.

From Day One, happy-go-lucky Yuzu makes enemies, namely the beautiful yet stern Student Council President Mei. So what happens when a dejected Yuzu returns home and discovers the shock of her life: that Mei is actually her new step-sister who has come to live with her? Even more surprising, when Mei catches Yuzu off-guard and kisses her out of the blue, what does it all mean?

The Citrus TV anime is directed by Takeo Takahashi and features animation by Passione.
