"Butlers" TV Anime Pushed Back Until April of 2018

Citing "various circumstances", the adaptation of popular action / comedy Chinese web comic has been delayed

Bad news for fans of the dueling man-servants of Intouchable Butlers, a Chinese web comic that mixes slapstick high school comedy with old-school battle action: the TV anime adaptation, Butlers ~Chitose Momotose Monogatari~, has been pushed back from a January 2018 debut to a new broadcast date in April of 2018.

In a tweet on the official Butlers TV anime Twitter feed (@butlers_anime), the production cites "various circumstances" as the cause of the delay, and apologizes to fans for the delay while asking for their continued support.

The story of Butlers ~Chitose Momotose Monogatari~ follows Koma Jinguji, a high school student council president with a captivating smile, and Tsubasa Hayakawa, a cafe worker who draws latte art of owls. Both men are charming with the opposite sex, but each considers the other a nemesis across fate and time. Together they engage in super-powered battles and slapstick comedy in a story that combines the bloodlines of a thousand years with the feelings of a hundred years.

Butlers ~Chitose Momotose Monogatari~ is directed by Masaru Takahashi and features animation by SILVER LINK..
