TV schedule revealed for upcoming original work featuring young men who love Sanrio mascot characters
The official Japanese TV schedule has been revealed for Sanrio Boys, an upcoming original TV anime abought a group of high school students who bond over their mutual love of Sanrio mascot characters such as Hello Kitty, My Melody, and Pompompurin. Sanrio Boys will broadcast according to the following schedule:
- Tokyo MX: every Saturday during the 22:00 time slot beginning on January 06, 2018.
- MBS (Mainichi Broadcasting System): every Saturday during the 26:08 time slot beginning on January 06, 2018.
- TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting: every Monday during the 26:00 time slot beginning on January 08, 2018.
- TV Hokkaido: every Thursday during the 26:05 time slot beginning on January 11, 2018.
Sanrio Boys will also broadcast on TV Aichi, Miyagi TV, Television Oita System, and other stations, but the schedule for these broadcasts has not yet been revealed.
Sanrio Boys is directed by Masahi Kudo and features animation by Studio Pierrot. The story of Sanrio Boys follows Kouta Hasegawa, a boy whose boring high school life grows more exciting when he meets other students who share his enthusiasm for Sanrio mascot characters, including an ace soccer play who loves Hello Kitty and a shy half-English student with a passion for the Little Twin Stars.
