Discotek Media Announces "Cinderella Boy," Updates Release Plans

Find out more info on "Library War" and other upcoming releases

Discotek Media hopped on Facebook for another slew of release plans, including the announcement of the Cinderella Boy anime. Straight from the mind of Monkey Punch, creator of Lupin III, the complete 2003 Cinderella Boy TV anime is coming to DVD on February 27, 2018.

Here's how Discotek describes it:

Ranma is a poor private detective with a strong sense of justice. His partner, Rella, is a thrill-seeking rich girl. They make for an odd couple on the dangerous streets of Kirin Town, until a run-in with a mafia boss ends up in a near-fatal car accident. Ranma wakes up at the scene, but it is days later and Rella is nowhere in sight. He gets back on the case to find out what happened to his partner, but at the stroke of midnight, a metamorphosis occurs, as Ranma is replaced by Rella. Now every day is a race against time as the two detectives, somehow working together though always apart, try to get their normal bodies back while taking on cases and struggling to survive against the city’s vilest villains. This complete collection contains all 13 episodes in the original Japanese language with English subtitles!

Discotek also posted updates on previously announced titles, including NieA_7, which is coming out in a Blu-ray and DVD combo set on February 27. The set will feature the original Japanese language with English subtitles and English dub options.

The full Library War TV series is coming to Blu-ray on February 27 in Japanese with English subs.

And Mamoru Oshii's classic anime film Urusei Yatsura: Beautiful Dreamer hits Blu-ray and DVD on February 27, with both Japanese and English audio options.
