"GIRLS und PANZER" Celebrates 5th Anniversary with Tank-Washing MV
Promo features choreography by s**t kingz and a special appearance by GuP goodwill ambassador Masahiro Chono
Bandai Visual is celebrating the 5th anniversary of the GIRLS und PANZER TV anime with the publication of a live-action, promotional music video entitled "SEN-SHA: WASH the PANZER", and this work is a clear example of when the contents of a video and its title perfectly match.
The video is directed by Yuji Harui and features choreography by s**t kingz. In the video, 5 dancers (Aimi Mouri, Mikako Kasai, Ayami Sema, Rion Okamoto, and Hazuki Tanda) don gym clothes and perform a choreographed dance routine while cleaning a full sized prop (designed by New Zealand's WETA Workshop) of the Panzer IV tank driven by the Ōarai Girls High School's Goosefish Team. GIRLS und PANZER goodwill ambassador Masahiro Chono also makes a cameo.
At least they didn't make them do the Anko Dance, I guess?
