Finally! Following last week's post about more cast additions, we now have our first good look at the horrors to come in the Junji Ito Collection anime. The series is directed by Shinobu Tagashira at Studio Deen, and an update on the official website revealed The Pinballs' "Shichitenbattou no Blues" as the opening theme song. You can hear a sample of that along with brief bursts of animated footage in the promo below.

The band's first major label mini-album, NUMBER 7, is due out in Japan on December 6.

Junji Ito Collection begins broadcasting on WOWOW on January 5, 2018, with an additional broadcast to follow on Tokyo MX beginning on January 7, 2018.
