Creatures of the Night Return in "Vampire Princess Miyu - Saku"

Original artist Narumi Kakinouchi pens and illustrates new adventures of immortal vampire girl for "Champion Cross"

Manga artist Narumi Kakinouchi is resurrecting one of her most enduring creations with Vampire Princess Miyu - Saku ("New Moon"), a new supernatural / horror web manga published in Akita Shoten's Champion Cross digital magazine.

The original Vampire Princess Miyu manga was written by Toshiki Hirano and illustrated by Narumi Kakinouchi, and it ran from 1988 - 2002 in Akita Shoten's Horror Comics shōjo manga magazine. It was also adapted into an OAV series in 1988 - 1989 and a TV anime in 1997 - 1998.

The story of Vampire Princess Miyu follows Miyu, an immortal vampire girl. Miyu is trapped in the role of a guardian who banishes monstrous entities known as Shinma back to the shadowy realms that are their true homes whenever they encroach upon the human world. Until all of the Shinma are banished, Miyu cannot return home herself.
