The first Christmas campaign for Madoka Magica spinoff game Magia Record has featured a triumphant return for hard-done-by fan favorite Mami Tomoe. The "Holy Mami" design features on both a four-star Puella Magi card and a three-star Memoria card. But Holy Mami's reach still has a ways to extend -- starting with a shrine in Akihabara.
The setup, titled Magia Record Holy Christmas 2017, will be on display at Akihabara UDX from December 19-25, from 10 am to 9:30 pm. Visitors can see a giant Holy Mami, her game appearance trailer, and "stained glass" style portraits of the game's other Puella Magi. In addition, Christmas cards will be handed out on site.
After Christmas, Comiket attendees can stop by the Aniplex booth (Booth 93) for a chance to pick wall scrolls and acrylic standees featring Holy Mami. Additionally, they'l be offering "Doppel" charms, depicting the game's special power in which a Puella Magi can safely access her Witch form for a devastating attack.
