Celebrate 10 Years of "Evangelion" Movies with New Art Book

"Evangelion Illustration Collection" brings together more than 600 pieces of art.

What do youget for the Eva fan on your list? Well, generally more Eva.

While it won't be available on time to be a holiday gift, the upcoming Evangelion Illustration Collection 2007-2017 will definitely be in the sights of fans of the series. The book celebrates ten years since the release of the first Rebuild of Evangelion film, pulling together more than 600 pieces of art from a variety of talented creators.

Contributors include character designer Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, mechanical designer Ikuto Yamashita, director and storyboarder Kazuya Tsurumaki, animator Tadashi Hiramatsu, and (of course) Hideaki Anno himself.

The B4-size book will come out in March 2018, and will retail for 3,000 yen. Different online stores are also lining up pre-purchase privileges like stickers and mini-books.
