Kodansha Teases New Year's "Shaman King" Announcement

Information expected January 1.

A new Kodansha ad is hinting at a big announcement come January 1. And between the timing, the URL, and the notable silhouette, people are pretty secure in their guess of what it's going to be.

June 2018 will mark the 20th anniversary of the Hiroyuki Takei manga. Combined with an October tweet in which he says he's working hard on a new project, fans are relatively certain we'll be seeing a new Shaman King manga sometime next year.

The URL on the ad currently only bounces back to the Kodansha website, but we'll be looking into it as soon as New Year's Day rolls around.
