Full version of whimsical, 3-part series of animated shorts is published to Youtube
The new year is coming to a close, and so is Keifuku-san, a 3-part series of animated shorts directed by Tatsuki (Kemono Friends) and published to social media websites such as Twitter and Youtube.
Incorporating the earlier two parts and adding additional footage as an epilogue, Keifuku-san features the adventures of a young girl in a railway conductor uniform and a floating manta ray as they explore an otherworldly space. The video features direction by Tatsuki, animation by Hirayasu, and art by Yukko (all members of animation studio irodori), as well as the voice talents of Yumiri Hanamori.
In the final installment, the girl and her whispering manta ray companion pack and ship a series of boxes with the help of a family of sea turtle spirits. The name "Keifuku" is made of the Kanji characters meaning "tilted" or "inclined" and "good luck".
Translation: "Because it's the end of the year, have an anime #keifuku-san"
Thank you, Tatsuki and irodori, for making 2017 a little bit more magical.
