Japanese release date set along with limited edition plans

Kadokawa Games revealed details for the Japanese release of Metal Max Xeno, which is officially set to launch on PS4 and PS Vita on April 19. The latest entry will be available in standard, limited, and premium editions, which come with a bunch of extras celebrating the series' 25th anniversary.

Before we get to that, you can see more of Metal Max's characters and action in a new promo.

First-print bonuses include the Underground Shotgun weapon, pictured below.

The ¥10,000 (about $89) limited edition packs the game with a 50-track soundtrack set, a 128-page book that digs into the history of the series, and DLC tank parts and weapons. The ¥7,852 ($70) premium edition is a digital release that includes a digital version of the soundtrack, an original theme, tank DLC, and its own exclusive tank weapon.
