Japanese calligraphy-inspired weapon now available in Switch sequel
Splatoon 2 is keeping up with tradition this year with the introduction of the Octobrush Nouveau weapon. Once again, the weapon's addition will coincide with the January 2 event of "Kakizome," or "first writing," which is the term for the first traditional calligraphy writing of the year. This typically falls on January 2 in Japan, so that means you should be able to grab the Octobrush Nouveau weapon now.
The Octobrush's sub weapon is Squid Beacon and its special is a blast of Tenta Missiles.
