Crunchyroll to Simulcast "How to Keep a Mummy" Anime

Adaptation begins on January 11 at 12:00pm PST

Crunchyroll announced plans to simulcast the How to Keep a Mummy anime, which is based on the Comico manga by Kakeru Utsugi. The tiny mummy fun officially begins on January 11 at 12:00pm PST. In the meantime, you can also read the original manga on Crunchyroll.

How to Keep a Mummy will be available to Crunchyroll members worldwide except for greater China, Japan, and Korea.

The main cast for How to Keep a Mummy includes:

  • Mutsumi Tamura as Sora Kashiwagi
  • Keisuke Kōmoto as Tazuki Kamiya
  • Himika Akaneya as Asa Motegi
  • Ai Kayano as Kaede Kashiwagi
  • And Seiichirō Yamashita as Taichi Tatsuaki

Kashiwagi Sora is living a totally normal high school student life, when his self-proclaimed "adventurer" father sends him a mummy from his travels in Egypt! Sora balks at the letter from his crazy dad ("I found a cool mummy, so I decided to leave it with you, son!") at first, but the mummy that emerges from inside the huge coffin in his living room is a mere 12 centimeters tall-- small enough to fit in the palm of his hand... Not only that, it's shy, a crybaby, and most of all, heckin' cute. And so, Sora ends up keeping the mummy, naming his new little buddy "Mii-kun." But living with a mummy might be easier said than done...!
