"The Stranger of Panorama Island" will be performed at the Theater Sun Mall venue in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
Ranpo Kitan: Game of Laplace, a 2015 TV anime inspired by the mystery novels and weird tales of Edogawa Ranpo, is being adapted into another stage play (subtitled "The Stranger of Panorama Island") that will run from April 13 - 22, 2018, at the Theater Sun Mall venue in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. The play is written and directed by Tomoharu Suzuki.

In the Ranpo Kitan: Game of Laplace - The Stranger of Panorama Island, Akechi, Kobayashi, and Hashiba of the Boy Detectives Club journey to Panorama Island to investigate strange reports of people rising from the grave. There they encounter someone they did not expect to see. Meanwhile, Superintendent Kagami and Detective Nakamura are on the trail of Sunaga, a violent criminal who escaped from Shinjuku Prison. The two investigations intersect in an unexpected manner. Will the Boy Detectives Club be able to crack the case?
