Man and Machine Test Their Mettle in "Megalo Box" TV Anime Trailer

Futuristic boxing series with animation by TMS Entertainment heads to TBS and BS-TBS in April of 2018

An action-packed new trailer has been released for Megalo Box, an upcoming TV anime that celebrates the 50th anniversary of Tomorrow's Joe (known as Ashita no Joe in Japan) by envisioning a near future world in which boxers enhance their sport through the use of prosthetic exoskeletons.

Megalo Box is directed by Yo Moriyama and features animation by TMS Entertainment. The story follows J.D. ("Junk Dog"), a boxer who descends into the underground world of "Megalo Box", in which fighters combine their training with special gear technology to create the ultimate martial art.

Megalo Box will begin broadcasting on TBS (Tokyo Broadcasting System) and BS-TBS in April of 2018.
