"Baki" New TV Anime Reveals Its First Visual for Summer 2018 Premiere

Netflix will stream the new anime adaptation first for Japanese audience

The official Twitter for Keisuke Itagaki's long-running action/martial arts manga series Baki posted a first visual for its upcoming new TV anime adaptation today. The 26-episode new TV anime is based on the "Most Evil Death Row Convicts" arc told in the manga's second installment Baki, and is scheduled to be streamed on Netflix first for Japanese audience in summer 2018, then for international audience in fall. 

 

 


 

The series started its serialization in Akita Shoten's Weekly Shonen Champion with the first installment

Grappler Baki (1991-1999), then followed by the second installment Baki (1999-2005), and the third

Hanma Baki (2006-2012). The ongoing fourth installment Baki-Dou has been serialized in the magazine

since 2014 and its next 20th tankobon volume is scheduled to be released on February 8.
