"Pretty" Series New TV Anime "Kiratto Pri☆Chan" Slated for April 2018

The ongoing "Idol Time Pripara" is confirmed to end in the end of March

Takara Tommy Arts held a press conference for the new series of its "Pretty" arcade game franchise today at Tokyo Anime Center. Following the three Pretty Rhythm series, Pripara and the ongoing Idol Time PriparaKiratto Pri☆Chan is set to launch in April 2018 and its TV anime will also premiere on TV Tokyo, its affiliates and BS Japan at the same time. The is the second project for the "Pretty" series' 10th anniversary in addition to the previously reported "Pretty All Friends."

 

Kiratto Pri☆Chan is set in a world where girls can be "Pri☆Chan Idol" by producing their own streaming channels using "Pri☆Chan System." The story follows two girls in their first grade of junior high, Mirai Momoyama (CV: Koko Hayashi) and Emo Moegi (Miyu Kubota). Because of their sense of rivalry against the popular idol Anna Akagi in their school, they end up making their debut as Pri☆Chan Idol. With the support of their classmate Rinka Aoba (Nanami Atsugi) who serves as manager, they start producing their own channel to promote themselves.
