"Megalo Box" Anime Casts Yoshimasa Hosoya in Lead Junk Dog Role

NakamuraEmi will perform the anime's ending theme

The Megalobox anime aims to help celebrate the 50th anniversary of Ikki Kajiwara and Tetsuya Chiba's Ashita no Joe manga when it premieres this April. Ahead of that, the official website went up with a new preview centered on protagonist Junk Dog, revealing Yoshimasa Hosoya (Reiner in Attack on Titan, Orga in Iron-Blooded Orphans) as the voice behind him.

Hosoya commented on the role, saying he had always wanted to play such a cool character ever since he first saw Teruhiko Aoi's portrayal of Joe Yabuki in the original Ashita no Joe anime adaptation.
