Adaptation of Icchokusen Mōkon's gender-bending magical girl comedy hits Japanese airwaves in April of 2018
The opening and ending theme performers have been revealed for Magical Girl Ore, an upcoming TV anime based on the gender-bending magical girl comedy manga by Icchokusen Mōkon about an idol singer who assumes the identity of a surprisingly beefy magical girl in order to save her would-be boyfriend from danger.
The ending theme for Magical Girl Ore is entitled "Gurasu no Ginga" ("Galaxy of Glass"), and it will be performed in-character by STAR☆PRINCE, a male idol vocal unit composed of Mohiro Mikage (voiced by Toshiyuki Toyonaga) and Hyoue (voiced by Kōji Yusa). The opening theme, entitled "NOISY LOVE POWER☆", will be performed by Ayaka Ohashi, the voice of Saki Uno in her female form.
In Magical Girl Ore, Saki Uno is an aspiring singer for the idol unit Magical Twin who has a major crush on her best friend's brother, Mohiro Mikage, the lead singer of the top male idol unit STAR☆PRINCE. Saki is distressed when she learns that her mother was formerly a magical girl, but when Mohiro is in endangered, she agrees to a magical girl contract in order to save her beloved. Her magical girl transformation, however, is not quite what Saki expected...
The original Magical Girl Ore manga was serialized in Fusion Product's Comic Be manga magazine. The Magical Girl Ore TV anime is directed by Itsuro Kawasaki and features animation by Pierrot+. Magical Girl Ore flexes its muscles on Japanese TV beginning in April of 2018.
