TV Anime "Chio's School Road" Announces July 2018 Premiere, Main VAs and Staff

Takayuki Inagaki (First Love Monster, Time Bokan 24) serves as director at Diomedea

Following the initial announcement in July 2017, an official teaser site and Twitter for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Tadataka Kawasaki's comedy manga Chio-chan no Tsugakuro/Chio's School Road opened with a teaser visual and announced its July 2018 premiere in Japan, main voice cast and staff today. 

 

The manga follows the protagonist high school girl Chio Miyamo's everyday adventures, such as unexpected closure, conversation with an not-so-close classmate, biker gangs, and micturition desire, on her way between school and home. It has been serialized in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Flapper since May 2014 and its latest 8th tankobon volume is set to be released on March 23.

 

Takayuki Inagaki (First Love Monster, Time Bokan 24) serves as director and series composition writer, along with character designer Mayuko Matsumoto (KanColle, Handa-kun). Diomedea (Aho

Girl, BEATLESS) works on anime production.
