"Nijiiro Days" Live-Action Film Full Trailer Introduces ED Theme Song by Kenji Furuya (Dragon Ash)

Ken Iizuka (Arakawa Under the Bridge)-directed film set to open in Japan on July 6

Following the teaser last December, the official website for the upcoming live-action film adaptation of Minami Mizuno's Nijiiro Days/Rainbow Days comedy manga posted a 100-second full trailer introducing its ending theme song "Wanderlust" performed by Kenji Furuya (Dragon Ash vocalist/guitarist). It is also confirmed that the film also features "NijI" and "Baumkuchen" by Fujifabric, "Jyunana-sai no Uta" by Mao Abe, "your song" by SUPER BEAVER, and "Gunjyo" by Leola as its insert song in the story.


The film tells the coming of age love story of four male high school students: Reo Sano (Natsuki Hashiba), Taishi Nakagawa (Tomoya Matsunaga), Mahiro Takasugi (Tsuyoshi Naoe), and Ryusei Yokohama (Keiichi Katakura). It is written directed by Ken Iizuka (Arakawa Under the Bridge) for a July 6 release in Japan.


The original manga was serialized in Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret from January 2012 to March 2017,

and was compiled in 15 tankobon volumes with over three million copies in Japan. Production Reed's

TV anime adaptation was aired for 24 episodes from January to June of 2016.
