Seven Seas Entertainment is proud to announce that they will be releasing the one-shot yuri manga Beauty and the Beast Girl early next year.
The story, written and illustrated by Neji, is a new take on the classic story. According to the summary from Seven Seas:
A troubled monster, isolated in the forest, wishes she could live amidst humans despite her frightening appearance. Everything changes when she starts getting a visitor--a blind human girl who’s fascinated with her mysterious forest friend. As the monster and the girl grow attached in their secluded world, their love proves that beauty is more than skin deep.
Seven Seas publisher Jason DeAngelis is confident in the new title's appeal: "We think this book will touch a lot of people, and we’re happy to be publishing it in a beautiful trim size."
Beauty and the Beast Girl will be released in a single volume, available starting January 29, 2019.
