Shigeru Kimiya (Musumet, Gift: Eternal Rainbow) is newly attached as director
The official website for the upcoming two-part anime film project based on Nanae Chrono's historical fiction manga Peacemaker Kurogane is today updated with a main visual for its first part "Omoumich" (literally translated as The Way of Believing), featuring the members of Sinsengumi including the protagonist Tetsunosuke Ichimura in the center.
And it is also confirmed that Hiroshi Takeuchi (Blade & Soul) has already left the project for unknown reason and that Shigeru Kimiya (Musumet, Gift: Eternal Rainbow) is newly attached as director. Kimiya retweeted the main visual post by the anime's official Twitter, but has posted no comments on his new job so far.
The first part is set for a release on June 2, 2018, then the second part "Yuumei" (Friends Life) will follow in the fall of the same year.
