Fans of yuri manga and supernatural comedy will soon have something new to sink their teeth into, because Amatou's 4-panel comic Ms. vampire who lives in my neighborhood. (known in Japan as Tonari no Kyuketsuki-san) is going to be adapted into a TV anime.
Aside from the key visual above, no further details (such as the cast, staff, and release date) have been revealed about the production, although an official website and Twitter feed (@kyuketsuki_san) have been published.
The original Ms. vampire who lives in my neighborhood. manga is serialized in Media Factory's Monthly Comic Cune seinen manga magazine. The story follows a meek and mild otaku vampire named Sophie Twilight who finds herself dealing with a new housemate after Akari Amano, a school girl who loves dolls, falls in love at first sight with Sophie's doll-like appearance and decides to move in with her.
