New key visual revealed for mixed media project in which some high school girls are also champion race horses



If you're in the mood for something to make you go giddyap, check out the new trailer and the new key visual for Uma Musume - Pretty Derby, an upcoming TV anime that is part of the mixed media project by Cygames, TOHO animation, and Lantis that imagines a world where some high school girls are also champion race horses.



Uma Musume - Pretty Derby is directed by Kei Oikawa and features animation by P.A. Works. The story follows Special Week, a horse girl from the countryside who moves to the big city in order to train at a school dedicated to racing. Together with her teammates, Special Week aims to conquer the "Twinkle Series" and to earn the title of "Japan's Number 1 Horse Girl".



Uma Musume - Pretty Derby will broadcast in Japan on Tokyo MX, BS11, and Kansai TV beginning on April 01, 2018, with additional broadcasts to follow on AT-X and Saga TV on April 02, 2018. The series will also be digitally distributed in Japan on AbemaTV beginning on April 03, 2018.
