Rookie voice actress Chisaki Morishita is set to play her first anime leading role
After the broadcast of the final 12th episode of the TV anime adaptation of Katsuwo's Mitsuboshi Colors manga in Japan last night, a 30-second PV to announce a TV anime project based on the author's another popular four-panel comedy manga series Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu (The loner's ○○ Life) was also introduced.
The manga has been serialized in in KADOKAWA/ASCII Media Works' Comic Dengeki Daioh"g" monthly magazine since 2014 and currently four tankobon volumes are available in Japan. The story centers on a first grade junior high school student named Bocchi Hitori, who is extremely shy. She makes a promise with her only friend since their elementary school days, Kai Yawara, that she has to break off their friendship unless she can make friends with everyone in her class by graduation.
