The sci-fi action series has printed over 16 million copies in Japan
After a 13-month hiatus, it is confirmed today that Yu Sasuga (story) and Kenichi Tachibana (art)'s sci-fi action manga series TerraFormars will resume its serialization in the next 21st/22nd combined issue of Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump to be released on April 26. The long-awaited new chapter will be featured in the issue's colored opening pages.
The manga's serialization has been stopped since the magazine's 15th issue of 2017 released on March 9, 2017. The publisher explained at the time that the story writer Sasuga needed medical treatment for his disease (the name of his disease was not specified).
The return of the manga for April 2018 was previously announced on the magazine's official Twitter back in December 2017.

The TerraFormars manga started its serialization first on Shueisha's Miracle Jump in January 2011.
After finishing its Bugs 2 arc, it moved to Weekly Young Jump in the following year. So far 20 tankobon
volumes have been avialable and it had printed over 16 million copies in Japan by April 2016.
