Disney Brings Digital Education to Life in "Technologia School of Magic"

New program combines new and classic characters with game design education

Starting today, there's a new way to learn game and web design, thanks to classic Disney characters. The new learning program Technologia School of Magic mashes up Disney favorites from all eras with a new set of characters and a techno-magic feel.

Scripted and directed by Ryosuke Nakamura (Grimgar, Ashes and Illusions), the program will contain approximately 100 hours of lesson time. Digging in once a week for two hours will take you through both the basic and applied classes over the course of a year.

Artist Mieko Hosoi (who also worked on Grimgar, Ashes and Illusions) has contributed the character designs, including several new characters created specifically for the game. From left to right, we have:

Sakura: CV Aoi Yuki (Tsuyu, My Hero Academia)

Akito: CV Jun'ya Enoki (Takeru, Digimon Adventure tri.)

Miimiru: CV Aimi Tanaka (Umaru, Himouto! Umaru-chan)

Rin: CV Saori Hayami (Kokoro, DARLING in the FRANXX)

Scol: CV Tomokazu Sugita (Etsuya Eizan, Food Wars!)

Perfume's "Electro World" will serve as the program's theme.

The game will feature characters from Aladdin, Big Hero 6, Frozen, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Lilo & Stitch, and many more disney favorites in their lessons. You'll also run into iconic characters suited up in the school's distinctive uniform.

A subscription to the streaming game won't be cheap, coming in at 128,000 yen about ($1,120) for the complete program. The first chapter is available now, with the next update expected to be available in mid-May.
