Nine More Warriors Face the Horde in "Angolmois" TV Anime

OP / ED theme performers also revealed for July 2018 adaptation of historical seinen manga by Nanahiko Takagi


Nine new cast members and the theme song performers have been revealed for Angolmois - Genkou Kassenki, an upcoming TV anime based on the historical seinen manga by Nanahiko Takagi about a small group of samurai warriors facing off against the invading Mongol armies in 1274 ACE. The new cast members include:



Rikiya Koyama as Onitakemaru.



Kenji Nomura as Shiraishi Kazuhisa.



Shirō Saitō as Chouminbuku.

Shun Horie as Amushi.

Ryôta Takeuchi as Hitari.

Yūsuke Kobayashi as Douen.

Kenji Hamada as Obusuma Saburou.


Hidekatsu Shibata as Sou Takekuni.

And Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Abiru Yajirou.

The opening theme for Angolmois - Genkou Kassenki is performed by Straightener, while the ending theme is performed by SHE'S (pictured above). The titles for the theme songs have not yet been revealed.



Angolmois - Genkou Kassenki is directed by Takayuki Kuriyama and Kumiko Habara and features animation by NAS. The series will begin broadcasting in Japan in July of 2018.
