Another Machi Asobi has come and gone, and the city of Tokushima is already planning their next event. The big weekend for Vol. 21 has been set: October 6-8 of this year. And Ufotable has hinted that the next installment of Fate/stay night [Heaven's Feel] may align with the event.
On the production company's official Twitter account, founder Hikaru Kondo pointed out the newly-announced dates. And at the recently-wrapped Vol. 20, mention was made of having a "good presentation" ready for the next event. Granted, with the sheer amount of material Ufotable produces (Fate and otherwise), this could theoretically mean anything. But with so much focus on the second [Heaven's Feel] installment, plus the studio's involvement with Machi Asobi, theories are already abounding that the next event might coincide with the release of Fate/stay night [Heaven's Feel] ii.lost butterfly.
The release date for lost butterfly has only been specified as "late 2018." But hopefully we will find out more soon. For now, fans in the West will get a chance to see Fate/stay night [Heaven's Feel] i.presage flower on the big screen next month.
