A new key visual (above) has been published for Kyoto Teramachi Sanjo no Holmes ("Holmes at Kyoto Teramachi Sanjo"), an upcoming TV anime adaptation based on the series of light novels written by Mai Mochizuki and illustrated by Yamōchishizu that follows the adventures of a pair of antique store employees / amateur sleuths who investigate mysteries for the patrons of their store.

The original Kyoto Teramachi Sanjo no Holmes novels are published in Japan by Futabasha, and a manga adaptation of the series featuring artwork by Ichiha Akizuki is serialized in Futabasha's Monthly Action seinen manga magazine.

The story follows Aoi Mashiro, a high school girl who works part-time at the "Kura" antique store located in Kyoto, and Kiyotaka Yagashira, the grandson of the store's owner who is known as the "Holmes of Teramachi". Together Aoi and Kiyotaka solve mysteries related to the various antiques brought in by customers.

The Kyoto Teramachi Sanjo no Holmes TV anime is directed by Tadayoshi Sasaki and features animation by Seven (Ai-Mai-MiKing's Game). The series will broadcast in Japan beginning in July of 2018.
