Freedom Fighters Gather in "Senjyushi: The Thousand Noble Musketeers" TV Anime Trailer

Adaptation based on smart phone about resistance fighters with antique rifles hits Japanese TV in July of 2018

A new preview video that introduces the main cast has been published for Senjyushi: The Thousand Noble Musketeers, an upcoming TV anime based on the smart phone game in which handsome young men resist the tyranny of a world-conquering emperor by inheriting the "will" of antique rifles.

The main cast for Senjyushi: The Thousand Noble Musketeers includes:

  • Taku Yashiro as Brown Bess.
  • Shinnosuke Tachibana as Charleville.
  • Shouta Aoi as Springfield.
  • Yūki Kaji as Kentucky.
  • Daisuke Namikawa as Napoleon.
  • Wataru Hatano as Rapp.
  • And others.

The story of Senjyushi: The Thousand Noble Musketeers is set in a world ravaged by nuclear war. The survivors are repressed by a tyrannical, world-spanning Empire that deprives the people of their liberty, but although militaries have been banned, a small group of resistance fighters still oppose the Emperor using antique firearms that were preserved as works of art. These men, who have inherited the spirit of their weapons, are known as "Noble Musketeers".

Senjyushi: The Thousand Noble Musketeers is directed by Ken'ichi Kasai and features animation by TMS Entertainment. The series will broadcast in Japan beginning in July of 2018.
