Aniplex today released a second key visual for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Akimi Yoshida's crime action manga series BANANA FISH featuring its main characters, and also announced its OP song performer and five additional voice cast. As part of the anniversary project for her 40-year manga artist activities, the highly-anticipated adaptation is set to premiere on Fuji TV and Amazon Prime Video on July 5, 2018.
Hiroko Utsumi, best known for her directorial works for Kyoto Animation's Free! series, is attached to direct, alongside series composition writer Kouji Seko (Mob Psycho 100, Inuyashiki) and character designer Akemi Hayashi (Fruit Basket, Dokyusei). MAPPA (In this Corner of The World, Garo: Vanishing Line) works on anime production.

The TV anime's OP song "found & lost" is provided by five-member Japanese rock band Survive Said The
"Oudou/Glorification" of the trilogy compilation film project based on the two Code Geass: Lelouch of the
Rebellion TV anime.
Additional voice cast:
An advance screening event for its first two episodes will be held on June 30. Yuuma Uchida and Kenji
Nojima will also appear on the stage.
