The TV anime adaptation is set to premiere on Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block in January 2019.
Soon after the official announcement for the TV anime adaptation of Yakusoku no Neverland/The Promised Neverland yesterday, the manga's two authors, story writer Kaiu Shirai and illustrator Posuka Demizu posted their messages about it on the manga's official Twitter.
From Kaiu Shirai:
"TV Anime adaptation! Thank you very much! I've read the screenplays for its first three episodes.
While keepig the same elements as the manga, they also provide diffrent ways of presentation.
They are made to enjoy twice with both the manga and anime. Personally, I am already looking
forward to watching a certain scene in its second episode so much. I would be very happy if I can
enjoy it with all of you!"
