Meet "Aikatsu!" Franchise's First Virtual YouTuber Nana in Self-Introduction Clip

The idol-themed trading card game series has shipped over 250 million cards

Bandai's card division has announced that its digital card game franchise Data Carddass Aikatsu!'s latest series Aikatsu Friends! has already attracted over one million registered users just in two months since its launch on April 4, 2018. In commemoration of the huge success, the franchise will introduce its first virtual YouTuber character Nana at the International Tokyo Toy Show 2018 this Sunday, June 10.


Prior to her first public appearance at the event, the franchise's official YouTube channel Aikatsu!Tube/AiTube has started streaming a 50-second self-introduction clip of her. Her voice cast is not yet revealed at this point.


Nana serves as an official navigator who provides information about the card game franchise through the YouTube channel. The Aikatsu Friends! series has already had its navigation character

Coco, voiced by Sumire Morohoshi (Ichigo Hoshimiya and Tsubasa Kisaragi in the previous anime series),

and in the beginning of the self-introduction clip, Nana says, "I admire the Aikatsu! Navi Coco-chan! What

a suprise! To become an admirable Aikatsu! Navi, I make my debut as a virtual AiTuber!"


The franchise's official website is now inviting questions to her via this form.
