Creatures of the Night Rumble in Sirius the Jaeger TV Anime

New key visual, trailer, and more revealed for upcoming original TV anime about vampires fighting werewolves

 

The hunt is on, and a ton of new information has been revealed for Sirius the Jaeger, an upcoming original TV anime about vampires and werewolves waging war in the imperial capital in 1930's Japan, including a new key visual (above), a new English-subtitled trailer (below), the Japanese TV schedule, and the ending theme performers.

 

 

The ending theme for Sirius the Jaeger, entitled "Seika", is performed by sajou no hana.

 

The official website decribes the story of Sirius the Jaeger as follows:

 

Imperial Capital, 1930.
A strange group of people carrying musical instrument cases landed on Tokyo station.
They are called the “Jaegers”, who came to hunt vampires.
Amongst them, there stood a young man with striking serenity and unusual aura.
His name is Yuliy, a werewolf whose home village was destroyed by vampires.
Yuliy and the Jaegers engage in deadly battle over a mysterious holy arc only known as “The Arc of Sirius”.
What truth awaits them at the end…?
With eternal affinity and spiral of conspiracy entwine, the highly anticipated action-thriller anime begins

 

 

Sirius the Jaeger is directed by Masahiro Ando and features animation by P.A. Works.  The series will broadcast in Japan according to the following TV schedule:


  • AT-X: every Thursday during the 23:00 time slot beginning on July 12, 2018.
  • Tokyo MX: every Thursday during the 23:30 time slot beginning on July 12, 2018.
  • BS11: every Thursday during the 23:30 time slot beginning on July 12, 2008.
  • Tulip Television: every Thursday during the 25:48 time slot beginning on July 12, 2018.


(Please note that some Japanese TV schedules count early-morning programming as late-night programming of the previous day, so for example the 25:48 time slot on Thursday night is actually on Friday morning at 1:58 AM JST.)
