Japanese TV schedule and more revealed for upcoming adaptation of novel series by Megumi Hatakenaka
A new key visual, new cast members, the OP / ED theme performers, and the Japanese TV schedule have been revealed for Tsukumogami Kashimasu, an upcoming TV anime based on the novel series written by Megumi Hatakenaka about a brother and sister who manage a cheerfully haunted equipment rental shop in Edo era Japan.
The new cast members include:
Tōru Nara as Notetsu.
Yutaka Nakano as Tsukuyomi.
Daisuke Hirakwa as Goi.
Satomi Akesaka as Ohime.
And Yuka Iguchi as Usagi.
Additionally, the opening theme for the series will be performed by MYAVI vs. Shishido Kavka, while the ending theme will be performed by Mai Kuraki.
The story of Tsukumogami Kashimasu follows Oaka and Kiyoji, a pair of siblings who run a rental shop called "Izumoya". For a fee, they lend out all manner of household goods, such as cooking pots and futons, but among their inventory are many mischievous tsukumogami - ordinary items that have turned into yokai after being used for 100 years.
The Tsukumogami Kashimasu TV anime is directed by Masahiko Murata and features animation by Telecom Animation Film. The series will broadcast on NHK General TV on Sundays during the 24:10 time slot (actually 12:10 AM on Monday morning) beginning on July 22, 2018. The series will broadcast in the Kansai region during the 24:50 time slot.
