Voice actors Tomokazu Sugita and Natsuki Hanae appear in Episode 38 which broadcasts in Japan next week
Beginning with Episode 38 (which broadcasts in Japan on June 26, 2018), two more voice actors will take on the role of Magic Knights in Black Clover, an on-going TV anime based on the fantasy adventure manga by Yūki Tabata about a boy who dreams of becoming the Wizard King. The new cast members include:
Tomokazu Sugita as Gueldre Poizot, a former merchant turned Magic Knight and leader of the Purple Orcas. Gueldre's "Permeation" talent allows him to temporarily turn himself invisible and render himself impervious to magic.
And Natsuki Hanae as Rill Boismortier, the leader of the Aqua Deer squad. Rill is the youngest captain of a Magic Knight group, and he is known for having a vague and fuzzy-headed personality. His "Painting" talent allows him to bring his artwork to life.
The original Black Clover manga is serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump manga magazine, and an English language version is also available from Viz Media. The Black Clover TV anime is directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and features animation by Pierrot. Black Clover is currently streaming on Crunchyroll and Funimation, who describe the series as follows:
In a world where magic is everything, Asta and Yuno are both found abandoned at a church on the same day. While Yuno is gifted with exceptional magical powers, Asta is the only one in this world without any. At the age of fifteen, both receive grimoires, magic books that amplify their holder’s magic. Asta’s is a rare Grimoire of Anti-Magic that negates and repels his opponent’s spells. Being opposite but good rivals, Yuno and Asta are ready for the hardest of challenges to achieve their common dream: to be the Wizard King. Giving up is never an option!
