Voice Actress Miyuki Sawashiro Takes Time Off for Maternity Leave
Sawashiro thanks the fans in an official statement to her agency and promises to return soon
In an official statement through her agency, Aoni Production, voice actress Miyuki Sawashiro (Kitaro in GeGeGe no Kitaro, Fujiko Mine in LUPIN THE 3RD PART 5) has announced that she will be taking time off from voice acting this summer for before-and-after childbirth maternity and childcare leave.
Sawashiro also thanked her fans for their continued support and asked them not to worry because she aims to return to work soon. Meanwhile, the official website for the currently broadcasting GeGeGe no Kitaro TV anime has announced that Sawashiro will continue in the role of Kitaro for the immediate future, and that they will announce any changes to the role as soon as plans for them are confirmed.
