nano Performs Her First Japanese-taste Rock Tune in TV Anime Kakuriyo New OP Song MV

New York-born bilingual singer's 9th single "Utsushiyo no Yume" will be available on August 22

The official website for singer nano has posted a new artist photo and a music video for her 9th single song "Utsushiyo no Yume" (Dreams of This World). Her first Japanese-taste rock tune featuring the sounds of shamisen (a lute instrument with three strings) and shakuhachi (bamboo-flute) is used as the 2nd OP theme for the TV anime Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits- (used in the ending credit in the latest 14th episode). 

 

She was born in New York City, and after posting several singing videos onto YouTube and Nico Nico Douga, she made her major debut from FlyingDog with her 1st album "nanoir" in March 2012. Since then, she has performed theme songs for Phi Brain: Puzzle of God, BTOOOM!, Arpeggio of Blue Steel -Ars Nova-, Magical Warfare, M3 the dark metal, Aria the Scarlet Ammo AA, Magical Girl Raising Project, and Chain Chronicle ~Light of Haecceitas~. Her 9th single "Utsushiyo no Yume" will be released in two editions on August 22.

The TV anime adaptation of Midori Yuuma's light novel Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi/Kakuriyo -Bed &

Breakfast for Spirits- premiered in Japan on April 2, and has been also available to Crunchyroll

members in the US and Canada.
