Fairy Tail Sequel Manga Kicks Off on July 25

Atsuo Ueda takes over art, with storyboards by Hiro Mashima

In addition to Ushio Andō's Fairy Tail City Hero and Kenshiro Sakamoto's Fairy Tail: Happy no Daibouken spinoff manga, Hiro Mashima's Fairy Tail is getting an official sequel. Mashima is busy with his new series, EDENS ZERO, but he's providing storyboards for Atsuo Ueda (Dr. Prisoner), who is on art for the followup.

Ueda's Fairy Tail sequel manga officially kicks off in Kodansha's Magazine Pocket manga app on July 25, and the first chapter will appear in this year's 34th issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine at the same time.
