Monster Strike The Animation 1st Episode Viewed 2 Million Times Worldwide in 24 Hours
New "Monster Strike" web anime series is now available on Crunchyroll

mixi's XFLAG Studio announced today that the first episode of Monster Strike The Animation, a new original web anime inspired by its mega hit action RPG franchise Monster Strike, was viewed more than two million times worldwide via its official YouTube channel within its first 24 hours, which was the highest record for the anime series. The 10-minute first episode "Prelude to Darkness" started streaming at 19:00 on July 8 (JST), then viewed one million times in its first three hours.
The Monster Strike web anime series was launched in October 2015 with multilingual support: English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, French, German, Spanish, and Portuguese. Unlike the previous two seasons focused on human characters' serial drama, Monster Strike The Animation is an omnibus series that tells various short stories featuring popular monsters from the franchise.
Along with the four-minute "Episode 0," the first episode is now also available to Crunchyroll Premium
members worldwide except for Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau.
