Highly-anticipated "Big Romance in Tokyo" will open in Japan on October 19, 2018
The official website for the two-part all-new anime feature film based on Waki Yamato's classic shoujo manga Haikara-san ga Tooru (Here Comes Miss Modern) announced today that 38-year-old voice actress/singer Maaya Sakamoto plays Lalissa, a new character who appears in its second part "Tokyo Dai Roman" (Big Romance in Tokyo).
Lalissa is the wife of Sasha Mikhaylov, a Russian count who has lived in exile in Japan. The count is exactly like Shinobu Ijuin, the protagonist Benio's fiancé who has been missing in action.

"She has held an important secret by herself, which she cannot reveal to anyone. Lalissa is totally
opposite from Benio, who has a free mind. I first thought she played a role disliked by all audience
in the story..., but after reading the script, I realize she is neither a bad person or mean, she just
tries to live her life as much as she can."
The second part "Tokyo Dai Roman" (Big Romance in Tokyo) is set to be released in Japan on October 18,
2018. It will animate until the last chapter of the manga, which didn't cover in the TV anime in the late 1970s.
You can check some scenes from the second part in the web CM for the first part's DVD/Bly-ray.
