B-PROJECT Anime Announces 2019 Return

Idol unit Kitakore appears in first key visual for new season

Cross-media idol series B-PROJECT is making its way back to TV for 2019, and with the announcement comes some gorgeous new art of the boys of Kitakore.

First adapted into an anime in 2016, B-PROJECT follows four male idol groups on the road to success, as they perform both as individual units and as one larger group. The project also has related manga, radio shows, stage plays, albums, and a mobile rhythm game.

The second season's official title has been announced as Zecchou*Emotion.

The first new key visual features the members of idol duo Kitakore, Tomohisa Kitakado (CV Daisuke Ono) and Ryuuji Korekuni (CV Daisuke Kishio). The official website has also received a complete overhaul in the wake of the announcement.

In addition, a new compilation album will be coming out this fall. Titled B-PROJECT ~ Kodou*Ambitious ~ Compilation Album, it will feature 15 tracks from the first season of the anime. The new album is expected to come out on November 28.

B-PROJECT ~Zecchou*Emotion~ premieres January 1, 2019.
