On its much-awaited theatrical release day in Japan, the official website for the live-action film Bleach posted a 60-second clip to introduce the behind-the-scenes from its climax battle by Ichigo Kurosaki (Souta fukushi), Uryu Ishida (Ryo Yoshizawa) and Byakuya Kuchiki (MIYAVI). The production team and cast spent two weeks to film the 20-minute scene, and another one year was used for post production including CGI effects after the filming was wrapped.
- Souta Fukushi (Ichigo): "When I heard MIYAVI-san was cast as Byakuya, I thought it became a worldwide class film."
- Ryo Yoshizawa (Uryu): "Because it was the first experience for me to act in such a huge set, I was so excited."
- MIYAVI (Byakuya): "I think taking part in this kind of unique film became an important experience for me. And I felt very happy to see the whole team worked as one."
